Boat Storage & Winterization FAQs
What's included in winterization?
Our standard winterization covers one engine, the fresh water system, blocking, and the head and holding tank. Generator and A/C winterization are available as add-ons. It protects your engine and systems from freeze damage all winter.
What's the difference between indoor and outdoor storage?
Outdoor storage is our most economical option, priced per foot with hoist and launch included (or a lower rate if your boat stays on its trailer). Indoor cold storage keeps your boat under roof and out of the weather. Heated indoor storage is available by approval and quoted individually.
Do I need my boat shrink wrapped?
Shrink wrapping seals your boat against snow, ice, and moisture over the winter and is highly recommended for outdoor storage. Ask about our Shrink Wrap Special, which bundles outside storage, shrink wrap, and winterization at a package rate.
How is storage priced?
Storage is priced by your boat's length (per foot), with separate rates for outdoor, indoor cold, and on-trailer storage. For boats with a bow pulpit and/or swim platform stored inside, add 2 feet to the length. See the full rate tables above.
Do you store personal watercraft (Jet Skis and Sea-Doos)?
Yes, we store PWCs on their trailer, single or double. Please note we no longer store PWCs without a trailer.
What is a blocking fee?
Blocking safely supports your boat while it's stored. The fee covers stands, blocks, equipment, usage, and labor, and is listed next to each storage rate.
What do I need to do with my battery?
All batteries must be removed before storage and kept charged over the winter so they're ready to go in spring.
What areas do you serve?
We're located on Grand Island and serve boaters across Buffalo and all of Western New York, including the Niagara River and Lake Erie.
How do I reserve my winter storage?
